What a CV tells you
- Where they studiedClaim
- Where they workedClaim
- What they say they can doClaim
A CV or qualification tells you what someone studied or where they worked. NOUSIA verifies what they can actually do, so for the first time capability can be measured, priced and trusted.

How it works
One process, however you engage us. You set the standard. We bring the operators and the evidence.
Step 01
Define the standard
We turn the role or capability you need into a written, assessable standard, agreed with your team.
Output
Capability standard
Step 02
Source or develop
We find operators for you and develop them through practical work against that standard.
Output
Shortlist or cohort
Step 03
Verify with evidence
Every capability is assessed through work samples and practical tests. You inspect the work, not a CV.
Output
Capability portfolio
Step 04
Hire and deploy
You make the call. Operators start day-one ready. If they don’t meet the standard, you don’t pay.
Output
Day-one ready operator
The standard we assess against
Observed
Has seen it done and can describe it.
Assisted
Can do it with a practitioner reviewing.
Independent
Can do it unsupervised, to standard.
Can teach it
Handles pressure and supports others.
Don’t just take our word for it. Inspect the work.

Minor gaps
Primary remaining requirement: employer-specific tooling and program onboarding
Example capability portfolio
Every operator comes with a Capability Portfolio: the work, how it was assessed and the result. This is an example.
Match to role
How closely an operator matches your role, and how soon they can deploy.
Gaps before you hire
Exactly what’s left to learn, before day one, not after.
Evidence behind every skill
Every capability links to the projects, simulations and assessments behind it.
A new way to build specialised teams.
Most organisations either hire capability, build it internally, or outsource it. NOUSIA builds the capability before you need to hire it.

Questions employers ask
Can’t find what you need? Email contact@nousia.com.au
Can we start small?
Yes. Most employers start with one role, one team or one problem. Every engagement is assessed against a standard you agree up front, so you see the evidence before you scale.
How does the guarantee work?
You only pay once the operator meets the capability standard you agreed with us. If they don’t meet it, you don’t pay a cent.
How does pricing work?
Hiring is 25% of first-year base salary, paid only once the operator meets the agreed standard. See Pricing for details.
How are people assessed?
Through work samples and practical tests against a written capability standard agreed with your team. Practitioners review the work and rate each capability as observed, assisted, independent or can teach it.
Can we inspect the actual work?
Yes. Every operator comes with a Capability Portfolio: the work itself, how it was assessed and the result. You review evidence, not a CV.
Does verified capability mean someone is ready for an entire role?
Not always. Verification covers each capability in the standard you agreed. The portfolio shows any remaining gaps, such as employer-specific tooling or onboarding, before you decide.
Do we have to hire candidates we meet?
No. You keep the hiring decision. We put forward people with proven capability; you interview them and make the final call.
Do we need a dedicated workforce pipeline to work with NOUSIA?
No. You can start with a single hire or one candidate to verify. A dedicated pipeline is there when you need people at scale.
